In a world where the general rule seems to be “every one for themselves,” it would not be hard to think that no-one really cares about your needs or what happens to you. That is not true either of God or the Maryborough Baptist Church. We do care and we are glad to have an opportunity to welcome you.
At Maryborough Baptist Church, it is our earnest desire to share with you what we have found to be true in our own lives—that God’s Love for all people in Jesus Christ is very real! We make no claims to being a perfect church or even a great church, but we do love the Lord and we do care about people.
With the above in mind, our goal as a church is to share God’s love in Jesus in word and action. We want to give people the opportunity to hear how Jesus can change their lives and impact their future by the work God is doing in our lives.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).
“This is how we know what love is: Christ gave his life for us. We too, then, ought to give our lives for others! If we are rich and see others in need, yet close our hearts against them, how can we claim that we love God? My children, our love should not be just words and talk; it must be true love, which shows itself in ACTION” (1 John 3:16-17).
“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven” (Matthew 5:16).
